http://jqueryui.com/docs/Upgrade_Guide/1.8.17 does not have any content. Wrong url?
@Ollie: The URL was correct, the content was just missing; it’s working now.
I thought you guys had vanished! Been a long time since the UI team has made a blog post (I’m sure some of you are busy with the plugins site fiasco). Glad to see full integration with jQuery 1.7.1, since that’s what I’ve been using – I didn’t notice any problems for my accordion menu and buttons on 1.8.16, but then again, I hadn’t tested it on every browser out there, especially older ones like IE7 or Firefox 3.
I’m very excited for whenever you’ll release jQuery UI 1.9; I may replace our website’s custom drop-down menu with the jQuery UI one, and I’m guessing it’ll be more stable and cross-browser compliant.
when will be available 1.9 ?…
@Martin: We don’t set dates for releases. 1.9 will be available when we complete everything on the roadmap: http://wiki.jqueryui.com/Roadmap
I would like to get rid of the “multiple DatePickers won’t trigger close event” bug listed at http://bugs.jqueryui.com/ticket/5818 asap. the milestone version suggests there will be a 1.8.18 release, and I dont see the datepicker fixes in the roadmap for 1.9. Will there be a 1.8.18 release?
